Use the journal workflow to capture the signer, document, identification, location, fees, signature, and other applicable information before locking the record.

Use New Act for a real journal record. Practice Entry can be used first to rehearse the workflow.

Enter the signer's full name, full address, identification method, and applicable ID information.

Select the notarial act type and enter the document description, page count, and document date when required.

Enter applicable statutory, travel, and other fees along with the signing location and mileage when applicable.

Capture the signer signature and any required thumbprint before submitting the record.

Submit validates required information before the record is confirmed and locked as an official journal entry.
