One Ledger • Resources
Protect your journal, account credentials, device, and sensitive signer information throughout everyday use of One Ledger.
Protect the device. Protect the journal.
Security begins with controlled access and careful sharing.
01
Use your email and password to access the account. After a successful login, biometric unlock can be used through the device's secure authentication system.
02
Face ID or Touch ID can unlock the app on the device after login setup. A manual password login is required again after the applicable authentication period.
03
Use Lock Data when stepping away from the device or handing it to someone else. The app immediately returns to the locked screen.
04
Journal records may contain personal information, signatures, and thumbprints. Keep the device protected and avoid unnecessary access or exposure.
05
Use the journal sharing tools carefully when emailing, printing, saving, or sending exported PDF records.
06
Maintain paper records, exported PDFs, and digital journal data according to the retention and security requirements that apply to your commission.
Sensitive Data
One Ledger journal records can contain PII, signatures, and thumbprints. Protect your device with a passcode and biometrics, lock the app when unattended, and use care when sharing records.
See the app's security and biometric workflow in the App Guide.
